I completed my first "song" using:
-ews64xl
-cubase vst 3.x
-a synthesizer

Now all the parts are edited (in cubase) and I have to mix and (hopefully) master the song. I know that is not easy. The first problem that I encountered is how to manage the volumes.

There is a big volume difference between the sounds coming from EWS and those coming from the synth. Using the mixer panel I can control the volume of the sounds from the synth (as input1) but I have no control on the ones coming from the EWS. Is that normal?
